Shipping Policies
Terms & Conditions
We make no representation to the legal rights for anyone to ship or import wines into your area. In fact, there are certain states and countries that we cannot ship to. Legally, as the buyer, you are solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us and our agents to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination.
When you place an Order, you agree to the following Wine Purchase and Shipping Terms:
- You affirm that you and the recipient are over 21 years of age and that you are complying with the direct shipment laws in your area to the best of your knowledge, including any volume limits. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years of age;
- You authorize charging your credit card for the purchase, including applicable taxes and shipping costs;
- You understand that the wine is sold in California and title is passed to you in California; and
- You accept that carrier redirect or return shipping fees for changes to shipments already processed in the system will be applied to your account.
To ensure maximum quality of wine deliveries, shipments may be held during periods of high or low temperatures.
Receiving A Shipment
If the recipient of the wine will not be home during regular business hours, we highly recommend sending the order to a commercial or business address where the package can be received and signed for. We pay extra to our shipping carrier to add the Adult Signature option, and then the carrier verifies the age of the recipient when delivering the package. Orders containing alcohol cannot be left on a doorstep, sent to a P.O. Box or left with someone who is visibly intoxicated. If no one is available for delivery, two additional attempts will generally be made. If the package is never received or picked up and returned to us, there will be an additional shipping charge to resend the package.
Return Policy
We are committed to your complete satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your order or somehow your wine shipment has become damaged, please contact us at info@miamarie.com.
